Christian Education Opportunities
We have opportunities for all ages - both in person and online.
Adult Classes
Questors Class – Meets in the office area classroom (Adults middle-aged and older. Traditional Quarterly Study)
Looking Glass Class – Meets in the Upper Room (behind plants in entry area) (Adults middle-aged and older. Book and video studies)
Connection Class – Meets in the North Classroom (off of the sanctuary) (Adults 18 and up. A safe space to hear and ask questions.)
Children’s Classes
Seedlings – a nursery for children birth to 36 months (songs, stories, guided play)
Lil’ Sprouts – a toddler room for 3-5 year olds (songs, stories, and guided play)
Sprouts – 6-8 years old (standard curriculum)
Saplings – 9-11 years old (standard curriculum)
Youth
Youth meet downstairs. They often also assist in the Sprouts and Saplings Children’s classes during Sunday School. (We require youth to be at least 5 years older than the age group with which they are helping.)
Zoom Bible Study – adult Bible study that meets at 6:00 p.m. Sunday afternoons on Zoom. Sign up HERE.
Combined Youth Group – Meets downstairs in youth area (high school and middle school youth) at 4:00 p.m.
Midweek @ St. Paul’s – Meal together at 5:30 p.m. Classes at 6:00 p.m. for all ages. September – December and January – April.
Children’s Church – Children are excused during the worship service to go have worship and lessons of their own.
Confirmation – For youth age 13-18, we offer confirmation classes which teach the youth about faith, the church, and what it means to be a disciple and a member. If you would like your student to take confirmation class, please email the pastor.
For adults we have:
UMC101 – Held on Wednesday in August.
Coffee with the Pastor – by appointment to ask the pastor questions about St. Paul’s or Christian faith.
Camps – are offered for children from First Grade to Graduated Seniors. Contact us here.
Summer Daze: A Family Affair – from 2 to 4 p.m. the last Sunday of the month in June, July and August. Two hours of crafts, games, food, and lots and lots of fun for kids of all ages! Questions? Contact Sharon Jackson
