Christian Education

Currently all of our Christian Education is offered through Zoom online.

We are not meeting right now for Christian Education on campus. When we return, this is what we offer:

Available Classes

Sunday School - 9:30 a.m. on Sundays

We are currently not meeting in person at 9:30 a.m. on Sundays.  When we do meet together again, these are the classes offered.

Questors Class – Meets in the office area classroom (Adults middle-aged and older. Traditional Bible Study)

Looking Glass Class – Meets in the Upper Room (behind plants in entry area) (Adults middle-aged and older. book and video studies)

Growing in Grace Class – Meets upstairs in children’s area (Pre-K to 5th grade graders. Fun, interactive lessons.)

Seedlings – a nursery for children birth to 3 years old (songs, stories, guided play)

 

Christian Education Sunday at 4 p.m.

Faith Connections – Meets in the Upper Room (behind plants in entry area) (Adults of all ages, current events and faith studies)  Sign up for Covenant Bible Study HERE.

Combined Youth Group – Meets downstairs in youth area (high school and middle school youth)

Growing in Grace Class – Meets upstairs in children’s area (Pre-K to 5th grade graders. Fun, interactive lessons.)

Seedlings – a nursery for children birth to 3 years old (songs, stories, guided play)

Other Learning Opportunities

Family of Faith – a midweek time for Christian education for all ages.

Right now we are doing “Cooking with Jesus.”

 

Coffee with the Pastor – The pastor will have “coffee” via Zoom or in person for those who wish to know more about St. Paul’s and the United Methodist Church.  If you are interested in scheduling a coffee, email the pastor at  pastor@stpaulslawton.org.

Membership Classes

Confirmation – For youth grades 6-12, we offer confirmation classes which runs during the school year.  Confirmation classes teach the youth about faith, the church, and what it means to be a disciple and a member.  If you would like your student to take confirmation class, please email the pastor.

For adults we have:

A Disciple’s Path (six weeks in the fall)

A Disciple’s Heart (six weeks in the spring)

A Disciple’s Path is an introduction to what it means to be a United Methodist.  A Disciple’s Heart continues the faith formation more deeply.  For more information, please email the pastor.
