Other Learning Opportunities

Family of Faith – a midweek time for Christian education for all ages.

Family of Faith will resume meeting starting September 9th via zoom! After our survey we had more interest in a “family” based study this time around so we will start with that but if we have interest for a study on Wednesday nights for those who do not have kids at home at this time, please let us know and we will get something in the works for that as well!

God’s Messy Family will be a 6 week series about finding your place when life isn’t perfect and for most of us, right now it’s probably a little messy!

You can view the demo about this series here
https://my.amplifymedia.com/amplify/video/unitedmethodistpublishinghouse/16239-gods-messy-family/23358-previews-and-more/95045-gods-messy-family-promo

If you would like to purchase a book to follow along during our study, the books are $10.49 through Cokesbury or on Kindle for $9.99! You are not required to purchase a book but I strongly recommend it to help follow along better during discussions!

Coffee with the Pastor – The pastor will have “coffee” via Zoom or in person for those who wish to know more about St. Paul’s and the United Methodist Church.  If you are interested in scheduling a coffee, email the pastor at  pastor@stpaulslawton.org.

Membership Classes

Confirmation – For youth grades 6-12, we offer confirmation classes which runs during the school year.  Confirmation classes teach the youth about faith, the church, and what it means to be a disciple and a member.  If you would like your student to take confirmation class, please email the pastor.

For adults we have:

A Disciple’s Path (six weeks in the fall)

A Disciple’s Heart (six weeks in the spring)

A Disciple’s Path is an introduction to what it means to be a United Methodist.  A Disciple’s Heart continues the faith formation more deeply.  For more information, please email the pastor.
